Ericka Richcrick was born and raised in York, PA, where she began her dance training.  She has studied at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Point Park College, and has attended many summer intensives, including the Washington School of Ballet Summer Intensive.  She has danced professionally with the Northern Ballet Theatre, the Ballet Theatre of Maryland, and Undertoe Dance Project.  Ericka is currently dancing with the Eidolon Ballet and is in her third season with Ballet forYoung Audiences.
Jaime Thompson is a native of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Growing up, she studied ballet, modern, tap, and jazz at the Pennsylvania Regional Ballet, formerly known as Cumberland Dance Company. Ms. Thompson studied at summer programs with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, The Rock School of The Pennsylvania Ballet, and Boston Ballet. After high school she spent two years studying at Point Park College in Pittsburgh. Ms. Thompson then finished her college education with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from The Boston Conservatory.  She joined Laura Ward/ Octavia Cup Dance Theatre in 2004 and continues to perform with the company.
Karina Teran, born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Professionally, Karina performed for seven years, throughout Ecuador, for the renowned Jose Miguel Salems Danzas Jazz, including Clara, Ballet de Camara del Teatro Municipal de Santiago, Chiles THE NUTCRACKER United States credits include a major tour with Boston Flamenco Ballet and Florida Grand Operas production of Aida, performances with the Staten Island Ballet. This is her 3rd year with BYA
Denis Hyland- Denis was born in New Jersey and received his training with David Howard and Greg King. He has been with the company since 1996, dancing Zorro in Zorro, the Prince in Nutcracker, Hercule in Beauty and the Beast and Shere Kahn in Jungle Book. Other credits include: Beyond Ballet, NYC, The Boca Ballet and Greg King Ballet FL. Denis also has an extensive Musical Theater background, has appeared in commercials and recently choreographed a production of Fiddler on the Roof
Hsing-Hua Wang is originally from Taipei, Taiwan. From 2002-2006 she was the principal dancer of The Capital Ballet of Taipei. After touring Europe, Ms. Wang moved to NYC in 2008. She has appeared at The International Arts Festival of New Zeland, The National Association of Dance Malaysia and has been working with Jennifer Muller/The Works since 2009. This is Ms. Wangs second year with BYA.
Arthur Lazalde
Matthew Ting hails from El Paso, Texas and is returning to BYA for his third year. For BYA, he has danced Mowgli in The Jungle Book, Candy Cane, Spanish, and Marzipan in The Nutcracker, and soloist roles in several of their original productions. He is also a member of Connecticut Ballet where he recently danced in Coppelia. Many thanks to his teachers, especially Francis Patrelle, Ginger Thatcher and master teacher and dance historian Gus Dick  Andros.
Melissa Holton- Childrens Director, grew up in Sunny South Florida, and studied at the Palm Beach Ballet Center under the direction of Joan Miller. She came to NewYork in 2006 and trained at Alvin Ailey's certificate program. Recently Melissa taught this summer at Frenchwoods Performing Arts Camp. There she choreographed the musicals Chicago and West Side Story. This is Melissa's fourth season dancing with BYA, and third as Children's Director.
Richard Ye began training and performing modern dance as an extracurricular activity during college. He took a hiatus from college to receive formal modern, jazz and classical ballet dance training on scholarships at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center and at the Milwaukee Ballet School, later completing a BFA in Dance at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Richard has performed as a member of numerous dance, theater and opera companies throughout the United States, including Cincinnati Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet and the Wylliams/Henry Danse Theater. He has toured Japan with the Metropolitan Opera, Canada with the New Tang Dynasty Television Chinese New Year performances and Ukraine with Dale Gutzman productions as an actor/singer/dancer.
Chip Scuderi
Mari Yoh- Mari was born Kumamoto, Japan and came to the US in 1995. She received her training from the Shanghai Dance School and The Beijing Dance Academy. She has been with the company since 1997, dancing Clara in the Nutcracker, the title role in The Little Mermaid and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. Other credits include: e-Dance company, Yangtze Repertory Theater of America and she was a soloist with the Kumamoto Ballet Theater. Ms. Yoh also teaches Chinese Folk Dance in NYC.
